Our Shows
Yes, our name is Halftime Dogs, so it’s not a surprise that halftime entertainment is our bread & butter. We’ve performed for the NFL, NBA, WNBA, the NBA G League, MLB and MiLB clubs, ESPN, MLS, NWSL, Major League Rugby, the CFL, USA Sevens Rugby, the American Gold Cup, the AAF (RIP), and NCAA programs across every major conference in the U.S. and Canada.
We also get contacted about frisbee dog shows at corporate events, dog festivals and expos, county and state fairs, school pep rallies and assemblies, and other special events. Below are our show formats, followed by every venue we’ve performed at since 2019.
Frisbee Dog Halftime Shows
Our performers are all disc dog world qualifiers, world champions, and world record holders. We all compete and judge at the highest levels in the sport. We are quite literally the best frisbee dogs and handlers in the business.
Our halftime shows are generally a 5-6 minute high-energy performance with 1-2 performers and 2-3 different dogs. Music is your call. We’ll send tracks and a suggested announcer read if you want them, or play whatever you like.
We can also do gameday teasers, pre-game shows, and meet & greets where fans can meet the dogs up close.
Frisbee Dog Ground Act
Frisbee dog ground acts can be done at all kinds of events including festivals, fairs, fundraisers, corporate offsites, conventions, school pep rallies and other campus events, and pet expos. All we need is a safe surface for our dogs (grass, turf, wood floor, pavement with matting, etc.) and enough space to perform.
This spot entertainment is generally a 20-minute ground act featuring up to 5-7 dfferent dogs doing stunts, frisbee, and tricks. We can get very creative with this so let us know what you’re thinking and we’ll work with you to create the perfect show.
Long Distance Long Bombs
Long bombs can be thrown on football fields, soccer fields, rugby fields, etc. (100 yards+). Fans love this segment of the show – our 83-yard catch in Feb, 2019, went viral with over 20 million views of the video on social media.
Our throwers regularly clear 100 yards in open-field distance competition. Our longest catch at a live sporting event is 92 yards, set at Stetson University in 2021.
Multi-Day Events: Canines in the Clouds
Halftime Dogs co-owner Jonathan Offi also runs Canines in the Clouds, a larger touring production built for events that need more than a five-minute act.
Where Halftime Dogs performs inside a game, Canines in the Clouds headlines the event itself: full ground shows with dock diving, big air, and multiple performances a day across a weekend or a full fair run. Same handlers, same caliber of dogs, different scale.
If you’re programming a fair, festival, boat or home show, or any multi-day event, that’s usually the better fit.

Our last show before the shutdown was Sporting Kansas City vs the Houston Dynamo on March 7, 2020. Fourteen months later, the first club to call us back was Sporting Kansas City, against Houston. We’ve had a soft spot for that front office ever since.

2014 to 2018
Halftime Dogs has been performing since 2014. Highlights from our first five seasons include the San Diego Chargers, the Los Angeles Chargers, Arena Bowl XXVIII, the USA Sevens Rugby Tournament, the American Gold Cup equestrian event, UCLA women’s basketball, the University of Colorado, San Diego State, West Virginia, Duquesne, Saint Louis, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal Baptist, CSU-Pueblo, the University of British Columbia, and the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge.
