Our Shows
Yes, our name is Halftime Dogs, so it’s not a surprise that halftime entertainment is our bread & butter. We’ve performed for the NFL, NBA, MLB, ESPN, MiLB, NCAA, AAF (RIP), AFL, MASL, the Expedition League, USA Sevens Rugby, American Gold Cup (equestrian), and many colleges across the U.S. and Canada.
But we also get contacted about doing frisbee dog shows at corporate events, dog festivals and expos, county and state fairs, school pep rallies and assemblies, and other special events. We can put on a great performance at those types of events, too. Scroll down to see some of what we can do.
Frisbee Dog Halftime Shows
Our performers are all disc dog world qualifiers, world champions, and world record holders. We all compete and judge at the highest levels in the sport. We are quite literally the best frisbee dogs and handlers in the business.
Our halftime shows are generally a 5-6 minute high-energy performance with 1-2 performers and 2-3 different dogs. We provide a script and music (but you’re welcome to use your own music – you know your crowd best!).
We can also do gameday teasers, pre-game shows, and meet & greets where fans can meet the dogs up close.
Long Distance Long Bombs
Long bombs can be thrown on football fields, soccer fields, rugby fields, etc. (100 yards+). Fans love this segment of the show – our 83-yard catch in Feb, 2019, went viral with over 20 million views of the video on social media.
Our distance team, Gary and Eurie, hold the 92-yard toss & catch world record at a live sporting event (9/4/2021), and have accomplished 122.5 yards in competition.
It’s our goal to be the first team ever to throw a 100-yard catch during a live sporting event. It could be at yours!
Frisbee Dog Ground Act
Frisbee dog ground acts can be done at all kinds of events including festivals, fairs, fundraisers, corporate offsites, conventions, school pep rallies and other campus events, and pet expos. All we need is a safe surface for our dogs (grass, turf, wood floor, pavement with matting, etc.) and enough space to perform.
This spot entertainment is generally a 20-minute ground act featuring up to 5-7 dfferent dogs doing stunts, frisbee, and tricks. We can get very creative with this so let us know what you’re thinking and we’ll work with you to create the perfect show.
Big Air Box Jump
Jonathan and his gravity-defying cattle dog mix Hydro put on a amazing high-jump act where Hydro clears 80″ and lands in Jonathan’s arms.
The Big Air Box Jump involves Hydro running and jumping on a table-like box set in front of the high jump bar, then propelling himself off the box and over the bar. Jonathan stands on the other side of the bar where he catches Hydro and lowers him to the ground safely.
